Getting started

PlayDoKids is Free to add listings with basic details. The mission of PlayDoKids is to collect reputed and genuine children’s products and services to the parents/caregivers by providing an excellent platform for both sides to connect and communicate easily. However, at a small price, you can get a lot more valuable business tools to manage and promote your business on the go. Check out the Pricing Plan Page for more details.

If you are a business owner who offers kid-friendly products or services related to children’s education, you can use this platform to list your class, reach out to more parents & allow them to book your class online. Just click here to get started.

Prerequisite to add your business on PlayDoKids.com – Your business should be catering to the needs of children such as Academic / Non Academic Coaching, Hobby Classes, Preschools, DayCares or etc.

 

Here are the simple steps to add your service / program on PlayDoKids: 

 

Step 1: Please check if your listing is already available on PlayDoKids by searching on the Home Page search bar. If  available, claim your listing on PlayDoKids by clicking the Claim Now link on the Listing Page Right Panel. 

 

Step 2: Fill the Claim Form with basic business verification details and 1 proof document.  Click on the Submit button and you will receive a confirmation email.

 

Step 3: PlayDoKids support team will contact you to verify your ownership of that business and after successful verification your claim will be approved. Once approved, you will automatically be listed as a provider in your local area.

 

If we don’t already have a listing for you, please click on the Add Listing button on Home Page and you will get started on creating a new listing / business page for you. A simple form with basic business details needs to be filled and submitted. You can utilize the fill-o-bot, the virtual assistant to automatically fill in most of the details in the form, if you have already listed your business with Google.

 

The PlayDoKids support team will check and publish it. After it has been created and published you will receive an email to claim it.

PlayDoKids is an ever-growing platform exclusively designed for kids related products and services. If your business fits in one of the following categories you can list them on PlayDoKids

  • Kids Activities (including Sports, Music, Dance, Painting, Craft and etc)
  • Kids Learning and Development Centers(such as Kumon, Abacus, Competitive Math and etc) 
  • Online Educational Resources (such as Educational Apps or Websites that has printable activity sheets and other utilities that aids children’s education,)
  • Play Schools and Daycare centres
  • Children’s Quiz
  • Live Online Classes or sessions for Skill and Educational Development (Coming soon).
  • Online Store to sell educational products (Coming Soon).

PlayDoKids being a user-friendly Platform sometimes a listing can be added by the admins or other users. However, only the business owner with the required documents can become the owner of that listing. If you find your business has already been added to the platform, you could claim it by clicking on the Claim Now link on the right side section of the Listing Page. On Clicking the Claim Now, a Claim Form opens where you need to fill a few mandatory fields and attach a proof document such as Address Proof, or registration documents etc so the PlayDoKids support team can verify and approve the claim. Usually it will take 48 hours to approve the claim.

Only a registered user of PlayDoKids Community can write a review for a Business Listed on PlayDoKids. The PDK Moderation team will monitor the content and will maintain the standard of the Platform. Any abusive text will be removed at once.

Managing Your Dashboard

PlayDoKids offers one of a kind dashboard which has all the necessary tools to manage and promote your Business. On PDK platform you can reach out to a large group of your target audience (Millennial Parents) who visit playdokids.com for children’s classes or courses. PDK gives Business KPI Stats. The Business KPI stats covers information such as how many users have viewed your business page, how many customers leads you have received and how many reviews were received in a given time for your Listings. 

 

PDK also has the following options on the Business Dashboard.

 

Announcements – Any announcements regarding the business such as a sale announcement or offers can be advertised using this option on the particular listing page.

 

Events -User can add details about any events that the business is conducting online or offline. Details regarding the registration and ticket links can be added using this option.

 

Appointments – The end-user can book appointments towards any business on PDK. The business owner can easily manage their appointments using this option.

 

Coupons – Any discount or offer coupons can be added using this option.

 

Products/Services – Any products or services that the user sells can be listed under this option.

 

Listings – This is where the listings of that user would be available and can be managed easily. We could change or update the listing details, pricing plans etc. 

 

Inbox messages – Any interactions such as Lead forms from the end user / a Parent will be available here.

 

Invoices – Online Invoice will be available here. 

 

Saved Listings – If any listing has been marked as saved, those will be saved under this section.

 

Ad Campaigns – The listing owner could run several ad campaigns on PlayDoKids and their details will be available here.

 

Reviews – The reviews the listing owner received or submitted will be available under this section.

 

Complete E-Learning Module(Coming Soon)- The E-Learning module will have the following features: Create multiple courses/classes, Attendance Management, Booking Slots, Fees Payment, Live Online/Virtual Classes & Events and more 

 

Online Store (Coming soon) – You can sell your educational products in our PlayDoKids Online store .

You will be able to add your event details easily through the Business owner Dashboard. On Click of the Events in the Dashboard, an Event Details Form opens where you can fill the details along with the Ticket URL and Registration URL.

It is quite easy to change your pricing plan on PlayDoKids through the Listing Owner Dashboard. On the Listing owner Dashboard under the Listings option you will be able to see your listings. Each listing has a vertical ellipses button on the right corner. On click of that option you will be able to upgrade your existing pricing plan. If you wish to downgrade or cancel your pricing plan, please write to us at [email protected]  

Trust & Safety

We take content integrity very seriously at PlayDoKids. If you see fake reviews or brigading (many users posting similar reviews at the same time), please report them to us immediately at [email protected] You can also report reviews choosing the “Report” option at the end of a review.

 Only a listing owner will be able to make changes to the listing page. However, we decide the listing owner capacity only through the claim process. So, please claim your business on PlayDoKids by submitting the required documents that show you are the rightful owner of your business. This will also help us to know which changes are coming from you. Changes are always reviewed by our moderation team for accuracy before they are approved. Be rest assured.

Also when a business is claimed, your listing page will have a “Claimed” symbol which will increase your business’s credibility among the PlayDoKids community.

PlayDoKids has this Review feature which is a great way to show your target customers about your service or product quality.  You can ask your existing customers/ parents to drop a genuine review about your product/service. This will help other parents to decide when they want to avail your service/product. Also, the ratings and reviews will help your business appear in the search options when a user searches for your niche with the “most rated” filter on.

PlayDoKids is completely free for Parents. PDK’s goal is to simplify parents’ lives by allowing them to find and book kids activity classes and kids online classes in their neighbourhood.

PlayDoKids is an ever-growing platform which currently has the following categories of kids related services or products

We welcome user suggested listings. You can suggest by filling out the form – Suggest a Resource , which can also be found in the Home Page. The PlayDoKids support team will work on your suggestion to onboard that resource.

Connecting with Activity Providers / Listing Owners

Contact the providers you’re interested in and enrol. If you’ve found a provider or set of providers you’re interested in, we recommend contacting those providers using the contact information listed on their Listing page on PlayDoKids to inquire (call or contact through the Lead Form on the Listing Page of PlayDoKids) about setting up an appointment (you can also use the appointment feature on PlayDoKids Listing Page to schedule an appointment) or enrolling in their program.

If the user is interested to visit the provider in person PlayDoKids help by providing driving directions to the provider’s location as well.

PlayDoKids members can write reviews of the listings/providers. These reviews may be accompanied by a star rating (multi-criteria rating) on a scale from 1 to 5 as well as details of the individual’s experience such as tips or photos. They will be associated with the profile of the user. The combined aggregate rating for that provider (for example 4/5) will be shown for that listing. Like all user-generated content on PlayDoKids, reviews are subject to the Rules and are actively moderated.

 

What is PlayDoKids’s review policy?

 

All reviews are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but in general, the following reviews are not allowed and will be removed:

Reviews, written by people with a clear conflict of interest. This includes reviews written by any current or former employee of the business, as well as reviews by employees of competitive businesses.

Reviews that describe the criminal activity. PlayDoKids is not a replacement for following the proper reporting channels.

Reviews that refer to other review sites such as Four Square, Just Dial or any other review websites or which are copied word-for-word from those sites.

Reviews that are irrelevant to the experience of visiting a particular place with your children.

Fake reviews or reviews that the author was paid to write.

 

What should I do if I see a review that looks fake?

Can providers remove bad reviews from their page?

 

No. There is no way for businesses to do this as it would compromise the integrity of our content. However, businesses may report reviews that they suspect to be fake or abusive by contacting [email protected]

Business providers / Child Care centers have their hands full — often literally — and may not always be able to pick up the phone. Don’t be shy about trying multiple times to contact them! Also be aware that though many providers have email addresses / social media presence, they may not check them very often. If you haven’t gotten a reply to your message, try calling them to follow up.

 

What if the contact information on the page is wrong?

 

Contact information can change over time and sometimes the listing is out of date. If you find the phone number, address or email address on the PlayDoKids listing is disconnected or goes to the wrong person, report the listing page by using the Report Now link on the right side of a listing page to let us know what happened and we’ll contact them and fix it right away.

Either you can write to [email protected] for reporting the inaccuracy in data of a provider. Or you can Report / Flag a Listing by using the Report Now link on the right side section of the listing page.

No one can change or update your reviews. If any user disagrees with your review they can react to it or reply to it but no one can change your review.

Also, if we find any reviews to be spammy or abusive it will be deleted by our PlayDoKids moderators.
